IMPORTER EXPORTER CODE (IEC) is granted by Directorate General of Foreign Trade under Ministry of Commerce and Industry, to any bonafide person / company for carrying out import/export in India. Businesses engaged in importing and exporting goods must have an Importer Exporter Code (IEC). Without one, you cannot import or export. Import export license is a basic registration for export and import of business activity apart from IEC license the merchant may require some other subsequent registrations required based on the products they are dealing.
Digital signature certificate of the applicant for digitally signing the forms through online.
Self-certified copy of Permanent Account Number (PAN) issued by income Tax Authorities for the applicant.
Soft copy passport size photographs of the applicant.
Bank Certificate from the bank on Bank letter head /cancelled cheque leaf of current account
